However, these claims show significant divergence from the aesthetics of “hiden” (if hidden, becomes a flower) cultivated by Japan’s ancient belief systems and traditional performing arts, as well as from the process of thorough self-purification through “misogi” (purification) and “norito” (ritual prayers).

人間に取って、自己の消滅という事象は古来より最大の恐怖の対象として語られてきた。しかし、精神的な成熟や他者との深い絆を有する個体に於いては、しばしば「自己の死」よりも「愛する他者の死」に対する恐怖が、より根源的且つ圧倒的な重圧として立ち現れることがある。この心理状態は、単なる離別への不安を超え、他者の衰弱を目の当たりにすることへの予期的な苦痛や、喪失後の存立可能性に対する疑念を含んでいる。本報告書では、エイブラハムの感情階層理論、ジャンケレヴィッチやレヴィナスの他者論的哲学、予期悲嘆の心理学的メカニズム、そしてレジリエンス理論に基づく「独りで生きる強さ」の再定義に就いて、広範且つ詳細な分析を行う。
