Hello. Today, I’d like to talk about the true story hidden within Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece, The Last Supper.
- Who was Leonardo da Vinci?
- Was “The Last Supper” Truly the “Last”?
- Are the Face Positions a Musical Scale!? Judas’s “Dissonance”
- Were Jesus and Mary Magdalene “Married”?
- Is the Title Wrong? Is “Wedding Party” the True Name?
- Was Jesus a Twin? Was Magdalene Also a “Counterpart”?
- The Truth is Always Before Our Eyes
- How Do You Interpret Leonardo’s Message?
Who was Leonardo da Vinci?
- Born 1452, died 1519. A “Renaissance man” (genius).
- Excelled in all fields: painter, sculptor, scientist, architect, inventor, anatomist, etc.
- Representative works: Mona Lisa, The Last Supper, Vitruvian Man, etc.
Was “The Last Supper” Truly the “Last”?

Generally, this painting is said to depict “Jesus Christ’s prediction of the traitor Judas during the Last Supper.” I strongly disagree with this explanation. This is because the painting contains far too many elements that suggest “blessing” and “bond.”
Are the Face Positions a Musical Scale!? Judas’s “Dissonance”
First, let’s look at the “positions” of the characters’ faces. If you apply the height of each face to a musical staff, they correspond to a musical scale. And when you play it on a piano…
Only one person clearly plays a dissonant note. That person is Judas.

Leonardo painted music visually and exposed the truth through sound.

Were Jesus and Mary Magdalene “Married”?

A particularly noteworthy figure in this painting is the person identified as “John,” seated to Jesus’s left. However, this person looks undeniably feminine.
- Long hair
- Soft eyes and jaw
- An “M” shape formed between Jesus and this person

Could this “M” indicate Mary? Furthermore, if you swap the positions of Jesus and this person, the composition makes it look as if she is leaning on Jesus’s shoulder.
I am convinced that this figure is Mary Magdalene and that she was Jesus’s wife. Also, Judas, as the betraying figure, is holding a bag of silver coins in his right hand on the table.
Is the Title Wrong? Is “Wedding Party” the True Name?
Is the title of this painting, “The Last Supper,” truly correct? I feel that “Wedding Party” fits much better.
Religious power and historical pressure altered the truth… Yet, I believe Leonardo left the truth behind in the form of a code.
Was Jesus a Twin? Was Magdalene Also a “Counterpart”?
Delving even deeper, is it possible that Jesus and Mary Magdalene were “twins” or “counterparts”?
- Yin and Yang
- Masculinity and femininity
- Divinity and humanity
It’s as if they were two halves of the same soul.
The Truth is Always Before Our Eyes
Not just in this painting, but in our world, there are many truths that lie “behind common knowledge.” It’s like a message embedded on the first page of a magazine.
“Those who know can see it. To those who don’t know, it’s just scenery.”
Do you possess that “eye”?
How Do You Interpret Leonardo’s Message?
Leonardo da Vinci was not just a painter. He was a scientist, a philosopher, and a seeker of truth. The Last Supper harbors another story not found in textbooks.
What do you think?
My personal interpretation is that he was quite a mischievous person, lol.
