A story about eating Okinawan food

日常

Over the past few years, I have become sleepy after 10:00 p.m. and find all the things I have to do after I get home to be a hassle, so I have made it a priority to stay home.(←I’m afraid I’m too quick to think that way myself.)

I like to have fun, but I can now think, “Well, I don’t have to force myself to go,” and I don’t go as actively as I used to,

We decided to drink at an Okinawan restaurant.

Shall we go

By the way, do you know what a kuunyan is?In Tokyo, it is called “Peach Oolong,” but over here, for some reason, we call it “Kuh-Nyang. I like this drink.(?)

In other parts of the world, we call it “reggae punch.”

A menu eaten at a restaurant where Okinawan songs are played.

Salted island rakkyo. I liked its spiciness and crunchy texture.

Deep fried Jimami tofu. Jeemami? It is tofu made from squeezed juice of peanuts. The texture is fluffy and sticky, like dessert. Or rather, dessert?

In Setsubun over here, peanuts are thrown instead of beans.

You can buy jimami tofu on the Internet, or if you can go to a store that sells Okinawan products, you can buy it.

It was insanely delicious.

Sea grapes!

I had an image of keeping it cold, but it seems to be stored at room temperature. It is weak against low temperature.

Just keep on crunching.

Curly fly. It is curly. The meaning of curly is “toast” in Okinawan style.

It was delicious. I just kept munching on it.

I like mozuku vinegar. Yes, I do.

Carrot shiri shiri.

Um,It is delicious.

I see that adding tuna gives it a rich flavor. But you don’t have to add tuna, right?

Iburigakko and cream cheese.

I was eating it. It was delicious. Snack.

Read “Tebichi”.

It is a dish of stewed pig’s feet and is said to be a local dish of Okinawa. The women were delighted to hear that their skin would change tomorrow because it contains a lot of collagen.

It was soft and tender.

goya chanpuru .

The bitter taste of bitter gourd accented the taste.

Rafute. Raftery? It was delicious, tender and cooked.

Soki soba was the main dish in my mind and this is what I wanted to eat the most. The broth was delicious. I also like the noodles.

Ice cream with Salt rice crackers. With strawberry sauce.

The Salt rice crackers were really salty lol.

While bobbing and eating, the harmony of sweet and salty flavors with a mouthful of ice cream.

I was just eating (although I laughed at the stories around me). Are there a lot of people doing guess-the-men activities now? All they talked about was Johnny’s. And EXILE?

Maru-san doesn’t seem to have anything he’s passionate about,” I was told, but not so much about Johnny’s (laughs).

So, enjoy the taste of Okinawa.

Okinawan dialect is… difficult. I will study it a little.
